The newest addition to Mystrillian's Academy of Magi and Champions, the Ziggurat of Rock is an educational crash course that turns would-be adventurers into hardened heroes. The Zyg's Adventurer's School is a class that really digs in to teach the skills, tricks, and tactics required to survive and thrive in a career as an adventurer!
The Adventurer's School runs for 6 consecutive weeks. New players may join at the start of any week. All sessions are beginner friendly.
MASK POLICY
Masks covering the nose and mouth are required. We have N95's for folks who need them.
Guidelines:
- Children under the age of 13 or have a difficult time moderating their emotions should have their aide or legal guardian near them during the sessions (We have comfy seating and free wi-fi)
- Keep in mind there are no make up sessions and we do not offer refunds if your child dislikes the event or fellow players. We will do all we can to remedy any group situation by working with the session's GM.
These are inclusive events. We actively welcome gamers who are LGBTQ and those on the ASD Spectrum. Parents, Therapists, and Aides are welcome to be a part of the adventure for children that need support.
Events need no less than 3 kids enrolled to run. Families that enroll in events where too few players sign up will be contacted with options.
Store Credit Account
We advise that parents fund a store credit account for their children for the purposes of purchasing snacks, drinks, entries, and accessories. Children get hungry, occasionally they are not registered for the event they want to play in, or forget accessories needed for the event they want to play in, or forget accessories needed for the event at home. If you would like to set up an account please check the boxes below. To fund the account you can stop into the store or you can PayPal us at [email protected]. For PayPal payments please write your child's name in the notes field.
Water bottles brought from home will be filled for free, for children.
Selling/Trading In Cards
It is our policy to not buy cards or do trade-ins with children under 18 unless their guardian is present.
Event Cancellation
- If WE cancel an event you will receive a full refund
- If YOU cancel your event attendance before the event begins you will receive Store Credit.
- If you cancel after the event begins you forfeit your fee.
Store Credit does not expire.
Please note we do not offer make up sessions, and we do not offer refunds if your child dislikes the event or fellow players. Immediate expulsion from the game, without refund of remaining events, will occur if the following happens:
- Swearing
- Yelling at players or the DM
- Attacking fellow player's characters
- Physical violence or threats of violence
- Disrespecting any of the players or the DM
LIABILITY WAIVER
The undersigned being the lawful parent and/or guardian of the above child hereby consent to the participation by the child in all activities conducted by Illusive Comics & Games. The undersigned assumes all risk of injury or harm to the child associated with participation in Illusive Comics & Games events and agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge Illusive Comics & Games and its subsidiaries, vendors, staff, employees, and agents of and from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and causes of action in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to the child, howsoever caused, arising by reason of or doing the child's participation in events held by Illusive Comics & Games.
The parties agree that to the extent they sign electronically, their electronic signature is the legally binding equivalent to their handwritten signature.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE
Illusive Comics & Games maintains the right to take photographs or videos of anyone participating in our events. Please email us at [email protected] if you specifically do not want to be included in this policy. Illusive Comics & Games has full and unrestricted publishing and uses rights of these photographs and videos including on our website and social media.
