Magic Academy: Learn to Play is the first of a two-part series. In this part-one event, brand new players will learn how to play with a video demo then be paired up to play friendly games. Experienced players can use this event as their opportunity to teach family and friends and help welcome the next generation of Magic players into the Gathering.
To facilitate their friendly games, each player will receive:
- A Welcome Deck
- A Learn-to-Play brochure
- A pocket reference card
- A sticker sheet.

Magic Academy: Learn to Play is the first of a two-part series. The second part is the Magic Academy: Deck-Building event on 12/7 at 11:30 AM, a $36 event focused on teaching players about deck construction. Each part has its own roster - while registering for both events is recommended, it is not required.

Masks covering the nose and mouth are required.
Event Cancellation Policy
- If WE cancel an event you will receive a full refund
- If YOU cancel your event attendance before the event begins you will receive Store Credit.
- If you cancel after the event begins you forfeit your fee.
Store credit does not expire.
