Create Disney magic at home with this collection of 101 official, never-before-shared recipes from Disney theme parks and resorts to celebrate special days and holidays throughout the year.
Most of us have a favorite holiday, a time when family and friends get together to swap stories, share food, and make new memories. There’s no better place to savor the seasons and unforgettable traditions than at the Disney parks, where holidays are celebrated through year-round festival programming and with seasonal offerings from rotating restaurant menus. In The Official Disney Parks Holidays Cookbook, we’ve grouped holiday recipes by a specific season (spring, summer, fall, and winter), plus other meaningful annual moments.
Here’s a sampling of the appetizers, mains, drinks, and desserts that await inside:
- Spring: Seven Greens Gumbo (Mardi Gras), Outback Skewer (Juneteenth)
- Summer: Walt’s Scotch Mist (Father’s Day), Classic Tuna Poke (Fourth of July)
- Fall: Gluten-Friendly Naan Bread (Diwali), Pumpkin Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches (Halloween), Holiday Ham Slider with Cranberry-Bacon Jam (Thanksgiving)
- Winter: Striped Bass Tostada (Día de los Reyes), Gingerbread Beignets with Eggnog Crème Anglaise (Christmas), Key Lime Scallop Ceviche with Chipotle Aïoli (Valentine’s Day)
- Other celebrations: Mickey Mouse-Shaped Musubi for a birthday, Rolling Boulder Sliders for a graduation
This festive volume serves up more than a hundred recipes from across the Disneyland Resort; the Walt Disney World Resort; and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Some are tried-and-true fan favorites from our restaurants of today and of days past. Newer delights shine in this collection, too. Each is just right for preparing in home kitchens and has been tested by real home chefs. With mouthwatering photographs and advice from Disney chefs, this cookbook is the perfect way to add a dash of Disney magic to your weekdays, parties, and special gatherings.
