Avengers Academy is a special event designed to help experienced players bring a friend, family member, trusted sidekick, or helpful henchman into Magic and give them a taste of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes a week before Prerelease! There are no rounds, no standings, and no pressure, so Avengers Academy keeps the focus on teamwork, learning, and fun.
This casual Two-Headed Giant event invites players to team up in pairs, ideally one experienced player and one learning Magic, and play against other two-person teams using the new themed Welcome Decks. Each participant can pick a Welcome Deck featuring a Marvel character they're excited about or based on a color they'd like to play, subject to availability. Each deck contains two 30-card half-decks of different colors that combine into a ready-to-play 60-card deck. The five decks each feature a different iconic Marvel character and include one mythic rare card that's new to Magic and available only in the Welcome Decks and Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Collector Boosters.
Players in Avengers Academy keep their Welcome Decks as a reward for participating. Drawstring bags and Hero // Villain tokens will be given to players who sign up with their valid Arena Email, while supplies last.

- If WE cancel an event you will receive a full refund
- If YOU cancel before the event begins you will receive Store Credit.
- If YOU cancel after the event begins you forfeit your fee.
