After being doused in an experimental gas, Virgil soon discovered that he had electromagnetic powers. Donning a sweet costume and wisecracking attitude like his favorite comic book characters, Virgil became Static, Dakota City's newest and coolest superhero, loved and respected by all... that is, if only he could tell people about his secret identity.
