Turquoise is named after the light blue waters of the island Tahiti. Turquoise was born in a sanctuary in Pape'ete, where she was raised by zoologist handlers until the age of three when she was tagged and then set free into the Ocean blue.
Henley's ancestors were bred to withstand the harsh climate of the Scottish Highlands, the place where Henley calls home. Her long fur, insulated body, and hardy frame make it so that she's suited for the rough, wet, and cold terrain of her home.
